How to request a book

  • Browse the virtual library & find a book you’re interested in checking out

  • Complete a book request and agree to the terms of borrowing

  • We’ll contact you with the availability of your book and next steps

How it works

  • Books are lent exclusively within the greater Tucson community.

  • Borrowing books is almost FREE! We ask for a $1 donation per book borrowed.

  • You can borrow 1 book at a time.

  • Books can be borrowed for up to 3 weeks.

  • Books will be lent in the order requests are received.

  • You’re responsible for picking up and returning books.

  • In joining the book collective, we ask that you keep a debit or credit card on file in the event of lost, damaged, or unreturned books. You can securely store your card on file via our account with Square.

  • If a book is not returned within the 3 week borrowing period, your card on file will be charged for the cost of the book (price per specific book disclosed upon borrowing).

  • We ask that you don’t lend out your book to anyone else within the 3 week period you’ve borrowed it for. If you do choose to lend it out, you are ultimately still responsible for the book and its return.

  • If a book is damaged or lost, your card on file will be charged for the cost of the book.

  • Please don’t doodle or fold pages in borrowed books.
